Those individual’s having heart disease, high blood pressure, arteriosclerosis, glaucoma and history of drug or alcohol abuse should avoid Adipex 37.5 mg. Those individuals who have taken in last 14 days monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI) like isocarboxazid, tranylcypromine and phenelzine should avoid Adipex 37.5 mg. Moreover, patients having thyroid problems or an anxiety disorder should avoid this medicine. Side effects of this drug on unborn child are not yet established thus it is better for pregnant women to take this medicine with doctor’s consultation. The nursing mothers should essentially consult doctor before taking this medicine since reports claiming this drug ability to pass into mother’s milk are not yet established.
Adipex 37.5 mg should be taken once or twice daily and on an empty stomach before meals. Missed dose of this medicine should be skipped since it will cause adverse effects. It's Overdose will cause rapid breathing, hallucinations, diarrhea, vomiting, etc. Side effects caused are anxiety, insomnia, impotence or changes in sex drive, etc. Adverse effects of Adipex 37.5 mg are exhibited if taken with guanethidine, diabetes drug therapies, etc.
